Your Guide to Rolling Payments

We’ve recently introduced rolling payments for our medical student subscriptions. This guide explains how they work and how you can cancel if you no longer need your subscription.

🔄 How Rolling Payments Work

• Your subscription runs on a monthly rolling basis through Shopify.

• Each month, your chosen payment method will be automatically charged on the same date you first signed up.

• As long as your payments are successful, you’ll enjoy uninterrupted access to your subscription.

🛑 How to Cancel Your Subscription

If you decide to cancel, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your Pastest account.

2. Click on the Menu icon (top right).
   

3. Choose Order History (you may be asked to verify your email again).
   

4. At the top of the Order History page.

   • You’ll see a button "View and manage order" (This only applies to rolling subscriptions, not 3, 6, or 12-month prepaid subscriptions).
     

5. Select Edit on the subscription you wish to cancel.
   

6. Scroll down and click Cancel Subscription.
   

7. A pop-up will appear asking if you’d prefer to pause instead.

   • If you still want to cancel, click Cancel Subscription again.
     

8. Provide a reason for cancelling and click Next.
   

9. Your subscription will then be cancelled.

✅ You’ll receive a confirmation email once the cancellation is complete.

✅ What Happens After You Cancel

• You’ll keep access to your subscription until the end of your current billing period.

• After this date, your access will automatically end and no more payments will be taken.

• There are no refunds for part-used months (as payments run through Shopify).

• You can restart anytime by purchasing a new subscription.

💡 Extra Notes

• If your payment fails, Shopify will notify you and allow you to update your details.

• The billing cycle always ties back to your sign-up date (e.g., signed up on the 15th = billed on the 15th each month).

• You’re always in control — cancel, pause, or re-subscribe whenever it fits your study plan.
