How do I reset my exam history?

If you’re looking to start your revision from scratch, we’ve made it easy to clear your performance and progress data — but please read carefully before proceeding.

🧼 How to Clear Your History

  1. Log in to your Pastest account

  2. Click on the menu icon in the top-right corner

  3. Select “My Account” from the dropdown

  4. Select "Clear History" in the side panel

  5. Choose the subscription you'd like to reset from the list

A warning screen will appear explaining that this will reset:

  • All question progress

  • Performance data

  • Any saved notes

⚠️ Final Confirmation

You’ll then see a confirmation pop-up titled “Clear History”:

  • Double-check you’ve selected the correct subscription

  • Tick the box to confirm you understand this cannot be undone

  • Click “Clear History” to complete the reset

⏱️ The reset process may take up to an hour to finish. After that, you’ll be ready to begin again with a clean slate.

Why Doesn’t My Account Reset Automatically When I Renew?

Many of our users choose to continue their progress when they extend or reactivate a subscription — helping them pick up right where they left off.

For that reason, your history is retained by default when you renew. This ensures you don’t lose your study data unless you choose to remove it.

If you’d prefer to start over, just follow the steps above to manually clear your history.

🧩 Can I Reset Just Part of My Progress?

At this time, partial resets aren’t possible. The "Clear History" function resets the entire subscription, including all questions, performance data, and notes. Unfortunately, it's not possible to keep selected parts of your progress.

It is not possible to reset your Qbank performance but not Past Papers, and vice versa.
