Your new home for courses

Ross Noach Ross Noach

A little over two years ago, we launched our Courses offering with a simple goal: to help customers who wanted a little extra support as they prepared for their exams. At the time, speed mattered. We wanted to get something useful into your hands quickly, without waiting for long development cycles.

To do that, we chose to host our Courses on a separate, standalone platform. It allowed us to test the idea rapidly and learn from real customer feedback. And thanks to many of you, we did — your engagement has shown us just how valuable structured courses can be during your learning and exam journey.

Why we’re moving to a new platform

As the Courses offering has grown, we’ve reached an exciting moment: it’s time to move it from its early “test‑and‑learn” environment onto a platform more integrated with the rest of our business’s technology stack.

This change reflects something we’ve learned along the way: revision isn’t just about what you’ve bought—it’s about what you want to achieve and how you get there. The new homepage is designed to support that mindset.

This move brings several benefits:

  • A seamless, single-login experience
No more jumping between systems—your courses will now sit alongside the rest of your tools.
  • More reliable performance
Our main platform is built for scale, security, and long‑term stability, giving you a smoother and more dependable experience.
  • A foundation for future improvements
Integration opens the door to more connected features, smarter recommendations, and deeper personalisation over time.
  • CPD points
You’ll now receive a CPD points certificate. This will be available as soon as you complete the course.

Why now

It's not just out courses offering that has grown and evolved. We're continuously evolving our product offering and alongside the platform shift, we’ll also be updating the homepage experience. Previously, your homepage displayed a simple grid of tiles showing the products you had purchased. It was functional — but it didn’t help you plan, prioritise, or organise how you wanted to work.

That’s why we’ll be replacing the tiles dashboard with a new sticky‑notes system designed to help you manage your revision across all your products. And that's why we needed to find a new home for courses now.

We'll give you more details on what this new new homepage experience will bring in due course.

What this means for you

Our commitment remains unchanged: we’re here to help you learn confidently and pass your exams successfully. What is changing is the environment in which those courses live — one that’s better equipped to support you now and in the future.

Please be aware, if you've previously purchased a course from us, you will continue to consume this on our original platform until January 30th. So nothing will work differently for you, and you can ignore the rest of this guide! You will receive a separate email from us explaining how we will be handling the transition from old to new for previously purchased courses

You'll see a new 'Courses' section in your main nav bar.

That will take you to a new courses homepage that will list any courses that you've purchased. If you haven't purchased any courses, then you won't see anything there for now! But as the transition continues, you'll be able to see all the available courses we offer and purchase any you are interested in directly.

If at any time you wish to get back, you can simply click on the 'Study' CTA which will take you back to your homepage.

What’s Next

As we transition to the new platform, we’ll communicate more detail on exactly how all the new features will work, to keep things as smooth and simple as possible for you. And with the new integrated environment and improved homepage, we’re setting the foundation for even more helpful tools in the future.

Thank you for helping shape the evolution of our Courses. We’re excited to bring you a more connected and more organised learning experience — and we can’t wait to show you what’s coming next.
