How to track your progress, exam readiness and review things you've already done

Richard Richard

Want to track your performance, revisit tricky questions, or better understand how ready you are for your next exam? Here’s your complete guide to tracking your study journey.

🔍 Activity Section Overview

The Activity section features up to three clear, visual summaries to help you track your study efforts and exam readiness more easily:

📊 Qbank Progress

This tile shows your overall progress through the question bank. It shows the total number of questions in the bank, and breaks down how many questions you’ve:

  • Answered correctly
  • Answered incorrectly
  • Answered in total

📝 Past Papers Progress

This tile shows your overall progress through the past papers. It shows the total number of papers in the resource, and breaks down how many papers you've completed, as well as the average score.

🎯 Exam Readiness

This score reflects how prepared you are for the exam based on your current performance.

  • It uses the same Progress Score formula explained here.
  • You'll see how close your performance is to the expected pass mark if the Pastest Qbank were fully representative of the exam.

Use these tiles to stay on track with your revision and focus your practice where it's needed most.

🔁 Reviewing Questions You've Seen

Want to revisit questions you’ve already worked through? No problem — we’ve made it easy to access your attempted questions:

  1. Head to the ‘Activity’ tab within the navigation menu
  2. Click the dropdown arrow to select the subscription you want to review
  3. Scroll to the My Responses section
  4. You’ll then see a full list of your sessions, including:
    • Session type (Qbank or Past Paper)
    • Date completed
    • Number of questions
    • Your score
    • Session status
    • A link to review your responses
  5. Use the page numbers at the bottom to scroll through your full history — 10 sessions at a time

Thing to note - your previous sessions are ordered by the date the session was STARTED, not completed. So if you started a Past Paper session a few weeks ago, for example, and only completed it today, it will appear further down the list than you are expecting.

📌 This section is your go-to for reviewing past questions, or tracking revision activity over time.

📈 Understanding Your Progress Score

Found on our study dashboard our Progress Score offers a more meaningful measure of how you're really doing — combining accuracy with effort.

What Is the Progress Score?

Unlike a standard percentage, your Progress Score reflects:

  • How many questions you’ve attempted
  • How many you’ve skipped
  • How far you’ve progressed through the Qbank

This gives you a more accurate picture of your readiness — not just your ability to pick the right answers occasionally.

How It's Calculated:

Progress Score = (Correct/Attempted) * (Attempted/Total Available)^0.25

It rewards steady, consistent revision and discourages skipping large chunks just to boost your average.

What You’ll See:

  • Your Progress Score for the Specialty
  • To the right, the weekly trend showing if you've improved in this specialty
  • Hovering on the score will show a tooltip, giving a breakdown of total attempted, correct, incorrect, and skipped questions
  • To the left of the score, is a visualisation of your progress score compared to the exam pass mark (green denotes above the pass mark, orange denotes improvement required)
  • The ability to sort specialties by strongest/weakest/most improved/alphabetically for easy prioritisation

🎯 It’s built to identify strong/weak specialties, to allow you to prioritise accordingly.
